Hi, I’m Tori Galatro, a freelance writer based in Austin, Texas.
I accept both single projects and ongoing work. My goal is to create unique and quality content that is tailored to your vision, within your budget, and with the least amount of headache for you.
I’ll work with you to figure out exactly what I can do to help your business or project, and together we’ll decide on a plan of action that will get you the results you want, whether that’s boosting traffic to your webpage, persuading someone to fund your project, or providing quality content that shows readers that you should be their go-to authority on a given subject.
Every project is different and calls for a different approach. Goals and deadlines change all the time. My job is to fit in wherever you need me to be.
Please visit my Current Resume for some examples of what I do, or…
Contact Me by phone or email and I’ll be happy to provide you with an estimate.
Not only does Tori write well, she is proactive, responsive and has a positive attitude. She went above and beyond, and we look forward to working with her again.

A Little About Me
I grew up and went to college in the New York area, and moved to Austin in 2014, after graduating from the State University of New York at Purchase College with a degree in English Literature in 2013. I’m an enormous film nerd, particularly of global and cult cinema, and I regularly attend screenings at various theaters around town. I also run a facebook and instagram film page that posts interesting screenings throughout Austin called Austin Film Watch.
My parents are both prolific painters, and instilled in me a strong belief in the importance of art education and art as an instrument of social change. I also believe strongly in knowing, respecting, and exercising our civil liberties, and by extension, the power of community building. I support creators of all kinds in my daily life. If a friend is involved in the production of a show, screening, or event around town, I try my best to be in attendance. As for my own contribution, I was the leader of the Student Garden during my time as a student, and now I am treasurer of the Alamo Community Garden in Austin, as well as a second year member.
